Hi,

please tell your friend this:

1. his subtitles is corrupted (we had a problem on subscene) The first lines are missing. Please upload again. When you're finished, please delete the old one. Thanks.

2. one subtitle has been deleted (The one with the false credits)

3. The other is still there, because it's a joined cd subtitle with different timing. It's not nice that your friend's credits are missing, but that is happening every single day. Modified timing is considered as "different enough". We mainly remove identical subs and the ones with false credits.

Still, we strongly encourage people to respect other peoples' work and leave the creators' credits intact by just adding a "modified/resynced/edited by XXXXXXX".

4. It would be easier for the admins if you post "real" links. Use the "chain symbol" at the top of the editor to fill in the link (use "open in new window" please).Thanks.

be careful when you give links, since we control them, that isn't a rapidshare link, it's a .srt subtitle. now i really hope it was a mistake on your end because otherwise you can consider yourself as warned.

Yes it is srt file but

if you open the file and go to the last line ( almost only 38 lines!!!!!) ... you'll see that he put a rapidshare link

that meen ... that the subtitle is fake

Fake means the subtitle doesn't correspond to the film it's meant for.

we cannot check all the subtitles and delete all those which include advertisement, but i'll have it checked by one of our admins. thanks.

This one is new:

It's a .srt, but it only contains the first few lines, and then a rapidshare link. Smart. But not smart enough. We adapt. We evolve. We delete. Resistance is futile. :-)
