dun worry soon will never bother you again admins

Hahahaha....nice try. What a blatant lie.... ;-)

Don't worry, just keep us informed.

Cheers

Deleted.

Both deleted. If you use someone else's synced timings, please say so in the comment or inside the subtitle next time. There is no such thing as one-way-fairness... :-)

I think the matter of giving credits can only be solved if everybody gives everybody the credits that they deserve. If people would just say what they did, it would work. Something like "translation/transcript by...edited/improved/spell-checked/HI removed by...formatted by...synced/adapted by..." and so on. Credits are not about an ego-trip, they just give anyone involved recognition for the work they've done. At least that is my idea how we can come as close as possible to a "copyright"  in a situation where a copyright is not applicable. Sounds fair?

Cheers

you are right rogard but they didn't appreciate my effort ,shall i recognize them?

i wanna know the psychology of removing the credits and stealing it?

why they are sick

That's where ethics and the matter of "right and wrong" comes into play. If you believe that credits should be given for someone's work, then yes. Some things are universally right, even if other people violate the rules. If you live by the "an eye for an eye" rule, you do exactly what they do. I strongly believe that each of us can make a difference, and by setting a standard and by "living by it", we'll eventually change people's minds and deeds, one by one. Not too long ago, I couldn't have cared less about translator's credits...until I started working on subtitles myself and quickly became annoyed and frustrated because other people stole my work. Just my 2 cents.

Second part of your questions. :-)

I guess many dudes just want to have their name displayed on as many tv sets as possible...

maybe the subtitle equivalent of spray painters who tag all the houses and walls to defend their home turf..and because it's against the law and therefore kinda cool. Forbidden fruits are the sweetest I guess. I wonder if they even think they are doing something bad...

That together with o total unawareness how hard it is to make a subtitle, and maybe a feeling to be smart and clever==superior. No hard work but a nice result: who does not find that idea attractive? Like, "hehe, some idiot spent 15 hours on making something nice, but I can do that in 1 minute."

Have you any other ideas why people are stealing credits?
